u can install it instead through the application manager. click on install new apps. I did this and doom was there and installed by itself.
easier than using the .deb file.

I have 2 nokia.com repositories (certified and non- certified) in my catalog, and doom was there to install for me. click on tools>app. catalog in the apple manager program.
