there is a way to make it use mplayer instead. I'll wager that they are using mobile formats which the N800 doesn't have support for. Perhaps we'll get support soon.

Edit: Streaming from Break.com doesn't seem to work, however downloading the full video and then watching it (easy as hell with this new app) worked perfectly.
