2007 He2007.36-2 flash 2006OS MMC 1G

For 2007He2007 or 2007He2006 (2006OS see next section):

1) go maemo.org maemo mapper home page>MM for 770, not N800, dl/save 1.4.7-2 to your MMC. Do not install, installer works ONLY for 2006OS, all else 2007He2006 or 2007He2007 has to dl/save then install.

2) file manager, click the dl MM 1.4.7-2, it will install.

3) most common, missing sqlite3, get it here, http://eko.one.pl/maemo/index.php?pa...Fbinary-armel/

4) or missing libxau0, get it here,
http://repository.maemo.org/ bora free

5) install flite for voice, it should be in your app manager>browse installable apps

6) DO not have to pair with your BT GPS, just turn on your BT GPS, GPS>enable GPS, MM will pick it up and ask for pairing code. First time use: Maps>Manage repo>cache dir change it to your MMC before dl maps overflow internal flash memory. Turn on Maps>auto-download when internet is available and turn it off when done to avoid dl unnecessary maps

7) DO not RESET the maps if you do not know your maps URL, the default is fine.

2006OS: just use the installer will be fine, if missing sqlite3 or libxau0, see above. Oh, I CANNOT make the 1.4.7-2 installation work, I use the 1.3.5 and install/work just fine.

post if question, I have installed MM under 2006OS, 2007He2006, 2007He2007.36-2. It is a piece of excellent app for the 770.

I am running, MM 1.4.7.-2, libsqlite3-0 3.3.8-1, flite 1.3.

I am writing this down, just in case I need to upgrade and has to re-install apps.
