Are you willing to pay my contracting fees for such a "service"?
Because since you state you're such a windows user that you can't survive without a GUI then you obviously want someone to code one especially for you.
Since I don't require such a kluge to get VPN working for me on my N800 then I consider it to be "extra work" just to get it done for you.
And my time is money. $75-an-hour plus expenses to start.

I guess what I'm really trying to tell you is to stop being such a scared little girl and go learn how to REALLY use Linux at the command-line level or failing that, return/sell your N800 to someone who can get better use out of it.
Well then thank you for such a useless response. I see the typical internet mentality is at work here so I will gladly ignore any further comments that you provide and by the way your $75 an hour is chump change. Why fault someone for wanting a point and click easy to use app. Since this is the "great debate" between many people not unlike yourself its a waste of time to even continue to explain to you why I would want such an app. I do find many people could benefit from it who don't have the time to learn commands nor care to.

As for my concerns. Since this is in fact an internet tablet I feel I should securly be able to use the internet, including banking sites without fear that someone is sitting there sniffing packets and trying to extract my personal info.

I will look into the router option as this will save me from having to install anything on my computer and having to leave the computer running. I just like saving power is all.
