Any of you used a Cowon A2 before? It’s a dream for movies, screen is great, you can even zoom in when watching to watch scenes bigger. But its just a PMP movie player, plus MP3 and a few things. Not hackable. And about $300.

I had one and my wife put it though the washing machine. : ) So now I have a 770, which I love so far.

I miss the features of the A2. Nice if Nokia 900+s had some of these: fast file transfer from PC, zoom in while watching video, 30G Hard drive, not too heavy (but more than my 770).

I will probably have to buy one again cause so far it is much nicer watching video than on the 770. Some how the zoom in is really usefull, like having a larger screen for those parts of the movie like dialog where u don't need to see all the edges.

Any one else use these? Anyone thinking of Q5 or the other Wifi cowons? Seems much better than Archos PMPs. I think A2's can run linux, but not much done for it so far.

Info on A2: Review

Some A2 Key features
• 4-inch wide-screen TFT display (480 x 272 pixel resolution)
• USB Host
• Line-input audio recording to MP3 (up to 192kbs)
• Video recording up to 640x480 pixel resolution, 1Mbs, with MP3 audio
• Battery that lasts for 8+ hours of video or 16+ hours of audio playback.

I don't work for Cowon, just loved this machine. Of course, I am doing more with the 770, and learning more on the way.
