ok Bun, Was able to send files back and forth via bluetooth without a problem. I was NOT able to establish a sync between my computer and the q9m via bluetooth. I think this was just more of a configuration issue so I'll keep working on it. While tethered though, I was able to utilize the PDANET software and get an internet connection between my computer and q9m. I noticed that PDANET installs a modem driver during it's install to establish the connection. For the 770/q9m connection, how does the 770 see the q9m as a modem similar to how pdanet does? There is an icon on the q9m under accessories called "modem link" and according to the verizon site, this must be set to ACTIVE in order to establish a connection. So before anyone asks, "yes", I have attempted this several different ways. prk60091 > I truly appreciate the links to those sites but I have read through so much of it that my mind is mush. I cannot find anything specific that tells me how to get past this issue. Would you mind helping me find exactly what it is that I am looking for in order to get this done... again, thank you. welcom > Again, great reading. The only issue for my situation is that it is very specific that this hack does not apply to WM6 smartphones. I am anxiously awaiting their next update. my hats off to all of you that take that time to help people like me looking to keep our "electronic leashes" nice and tight. thanks, James
