Nokia takes too long to learn from Maemo's success. They should've started throwing ALOT more weight behind it the moment the n800 was a success.

But anyway the whole hardware being outdated thing goes for any consumer electronic. Heck almost anything is outdated by next year. Your car? Outdated by next year. Your HDTV? Outdated by next year. Your laptop? Outdated by next year. You'd be a fool to think that it wouldn't happen to the N900 too. (Post not directed to you abill_uk).
I agree here Nokia is very very slow which makes me wonder what is going on in the development dept because it seems they have gone on to something else and that is maybe because of the massive questionair campaign they did that has been analized, i was always very sceptical of that questionair as i had a feeling the results of it might make Nokia go in a different direction suddenly and from what has happened in the last few months it certainly looks that way.
