The Mozilla based browser is not included in this release, and the current version for the official Internet Tablet OS 2006 has some conflicts with dependencies. However, it shouldn't be difficult to build new packages specific for this Hacker Edition and then install the Mozilla engine manually.

Now we wait for the missing bit - not as if we aren't used to it, eh ? :-)
Well, it just says it is not included. Also version targeted for OS2006 may not be compatible with OS2007, this can be expected. But Carlos wrote "On the up side, all the user space libraries have been updated as well as all the applications, so we expect application portability across N800 OS2007 and the 770 hacker edition as long as code is not compiled specifically for OMAP2." so this should mean Microb for N800 should simply work.

However it looks it is not working. I guess this has something to do with browser UI being modified on hacker edition to work with older Opera engine. Once you update to microb which adds new engine but also updates the browser UI and abstraction layer it breaks. You can see dependencies for microb-browser in aplication manager, it can be seen it wants to update many tablet-browser-.... packages.
