Grooveshark is quite a good alternative though. It can be found in devel (applications in Extras-Devel are advertised as unstable though so no-one but you has any responsibility if your phone becomes slow, reboots, kills your neighbours etc)

Most applications I install from Extras-Devel (including Groove), have never really destroyed my device.
