I just went thru this whole thread looking for one message in which someone said his card had a lifetime warrantee and asked if anyone had tried returning their card to the manufacturer for a refund/replacement. I never saw a reply.

But, I thought of a couple of things while reading:

1) Why does each of us have to post about this in Bugzilla? Can't the developers read this thread? I don't see how anyone who reads this thread can be anything but convinced there is a problem.

2) My impression is that more than 50% of users who get high capacity cards have this problem. That's a pretty high failure rate. Does someone like Texrat disagree? If someone does disagree, what is their estimate of the percentage of purchasers of high capacity cards who have this problem? Is there a way that Nokia could take a poll and get an unbiased estimate of the extent of this problem?
