I would like something like this too... let's say that you have an "emergency" desktop that anyone can use, and after unlocking all the n900 power will be released.
I imagine this more or less like functionalizing the screen lock page with some shortcuts... you know, something 4 parents or gf.
Is this compatible w/ the idea you've?
