Thanks, but that's not it. This might better explain what I'm trying to do. While you in a call, instead of putting the phone to your face/head, just hold it in your hand. Then use your thumb to cover up the proximity sensor, you'll noticed that the display will be switched off rather quickly (by design). Moving your thumb away from the sensor will then power up the display again...but there's a delay. There's a time difference between the speed of turning the display on, and turning the display off. Off is a lot quicker... What I would like to achieve is to make the response time shorter when the display comes back on.
