I couldn't even close the window in the taskbar - I had to reboot the phone to close the App.

I have however just this second worked out how to do it. I was launching dtg by clicking on a spreadsheet document, if I launch the application from it's proper shortcut I can access the continue trial button (the Buy button still leads you to a broken Dataviz site).
