Greetings everyone, i got my n900 last week, had a few problems and solved a few myself. still need help,

1. If my firmware is the latest version, is flashing my firmware still going to help improve battery performance?

2. My phone can find and connect to my WiFi at home, but web browers (both MicroB and firefox) can not open web page. As far as I know, my router has no firewall or proxy settings. My phone works with GPRS access point. My application manager sometimes works sometimes not with my WiFi.

3. When using OVI maps, how can I set my screen backlight to be on at all time?

4. Does anyone know which app drains power at the back?

5. When using the battery-eye app, it shows my battery can only reach 1200mAh when fully charged, is this a defect battery? What are your readings please?

6. What's the differece between the different PR1.2 firmwares for different regions, such as USA, UK, middle east etc? I am in Australia, should I use the Global version firmware?
