N64 uses different GPU chip than PSX.

To make matter worse PSX GPU chip is one of the first that hit the mass market and is very different what we got used to. I've been going through PEOPS plugin and seen very wierd use of OpenGL pipeline, with comments explaining that there is some heavy VooDoo going on here.
Withouth through knowledge (like Pete's) of the GPU internals it's impossible to rewrite this plugin.
I would really not stress about getting it to work. I'd say hold out and just borrow Pandora's source once they get it up and running. I posted this in another thread and managed to find the user who is working on it (allegedly): Tinnus.

How far he has progressed I've no idea, and there is little information in his posts... but who knows.. he may pull a rabbit out of the hat :P

While I'm talking.. are there any plugins (probably not the correct term given they are hardcoded) that'll add gamepad/joystick support: I'd love added functionality with being able to use the PS3 Joystick for PS1 games.
