No. Unless you turn off "Use the camera key" in Shortcutd's settings, they'll most likely conflict (nothing adverse, just Shortcut'd would also execute its configured action).

Of course, the ideal course of action would be to integrate it into Shortcutd itself as I have no plans to work on this - and that is what I was doing, but I couldn't figure out libdbus and went back to my beloved DBus-GLib. I'm also glad I didn't as being able to use the camera key seems to depend on what position the moon is in...

Nope, you'll need to run it after each reboot(and leave the Terminal window open... unless you run it with nohup).
