Sorry, thought it did, using that method and GTalk all the contacts show up correctly all the time.

All contacts seem to be in there but there online status is not shown correctly - most of the time. Does that work fors everybody else ?
As I say the transports work fine with the setup in the article and I always know when they are online both my 4 top contacts in the desktop app and everyone else in "contacts".

Also is there a way to show only the online contacts ?
In "contacts" you just click "online" in the navigation tree on the left.
