rebhana: i'd like to report that i have successfully installed asterisk on easy debian. However, as the wiki stated, keep your expectations reasonable. It does run and i was able to make a call. I was even able to install FreePBX BUT the CPU ran at around 10% on idle and jumped to around 50% on a call. Considering i was connected to myself (setup a local and connected the n900), i was surprised that the connection was choppy. I will still keep it installed just for the heck of it.
