The latter "only" being a proof-of-concept for the API itself.

No, it would be the greatest news if Nokia paid me €5000 each month for using their devices.

Until then, making it possible - by providing an API for a formerly completely closed part - to replace one of the system applications that has been criticised the most is good enough for me.
