I personally love this device. Think I'm going to keep it for a while. Unless the 1st nokia meego device is something spectacular.
I took a long time deliberating before I purchased the N900. My requirements being keyboard, "real browsing," extensible, e-mail and social media options, eBook reader, camera, music player, WiFi, Bluetooth, external display option, expandable memory, and synchronization with OS X.

The N900 isn't cheap, but I plan to use it for at least two years unless something considerably better comes along. After that, the N900 becomes a backup for whatever usurps it.

Still using some of my old cellphones as backup GPS devices and alarm clocks....

Even if I stop using the N900 I will still hang on to it. I think it is an interesting historical device - something that few other manufacturers have attempted. Nokia got some things wrong, but it is a worthy and interesting experiment. I don't want future devices to be locked, I don't want Google to control my cellphone.
