Same here except I'm using ufraw 0.17 from here https://launchpad.net/~pmjdebruijn/+archive/ppa.
Strange - ufraw/cdraw has DNG support...

FCam is fantastic otherwise - at last I get decent exposures (default camera app turns up gain needlessly)
