Yes, chmod for /opt/modrana is a good solution! Now it remembers the options! And it doesn't have apparent problems with logging!

I'll try to do a field test soon.

To MartinK:

get file
postinst
in debian directory
and add line like
chmod -R 0777 /opt/modrana
or something similar

It might resolve many issues.
