The beta release announcement will align with BH and DC time frame. This doesn't necessarily mean it will be publicly available, however. It takes a lot more to get this going than you guys seem to understand. So have some patience. Donating to the project would also be nice, it takes time and energy, and the BackTrack guys are some of the best people to be doing it. Show some support.
