Ok looks like most of you decided to criticize Nokia for the lack of originality when it comes to design, but let's face it: when you design a touch phone there's not much room for creativity. I mean look at the phones that are already on the market, aren't they all pretty much the same?? HTC, iPhone, Samsung, SE - all monoblock handsets with a slim waist, a big screen covering most of the front side and one or more hardware keys on the bottom. The tendency is to create a touch screen as big as possible (because bigger is better) while making the body as thin as possible. Now how can you follow that recipe and still come up with a radically different design?
Now I'm not defending Nokia, but that's how things are right now.
I have to agree with the guy who complained about the limited choices when we were asked to vote. I'm now baffled to see a concept that envisions a ridiculously powerful handset with a width of only 8mm. Even today, there's no way you can cram all that in such a small space!
Now let me just say this... the BEST phone would simply be our beloved N900 with a nice slim waist and upgraded hardware - am I right?
