A rather big issue, that one. Smaller, lighter, bigger performance for your gadetry: it's possible and allready done as we speak. But batteries with bigger capacity have been an unresolved problem for years now.
I see that problem too. If you put more and more stuff in your phone or your Internet Tablet it will need more power. And since there was no really huge improvement in the Wh/m^3 (capacity per volume) department these devices will run out of battery faster and faster. Just look at mobile phones. Using the N95 as advertised empties the batteries after 10-12 hours for some people.
