I know I can get it free I just don't see why users need high end software just to view the dng image from this application. The file should be usable from all software that is capable of accessing dng files. I am not sure if the file produced by Fcam is a true dng file. I have asked before why this is but the developers never answer. Fcam is an amazing application and producing workable files is a must. I understand it is still in development so maybe this improvement is in the plans.
