Ye I thats what I meant, people make overclocking sound harder than it is, especially for people who don't know how to use xterm, all that is required is to install the kernel for power users and then setting which is well documented on this forum again and again.

Once done the next step is to use xterm or queenbecon to change the speed and this for some people is the hard bit, using cpufreq it take one fingers to switch from 1.15ghz back down to 700
