so which editor would be best for editing the file without seeing the formatting? just like it is on the 770.

all of the text editors i've tried so far (word, wordpad, notepad and vim) turn the file into a garbled mess. looking something like html code but nothing like the formatted file on the 770.

i appreciate your help btw.
