It sounds like when pure241 says "without seeing the formatting", he means "without seeing the HTML code".

So he *wants* to see the formatting (i.e. <b>bold</b> at bold etc.). For this you'll need an HTML editor. Microsoft Word, Abiword and OpenOffice.org would all work too.
