Install videocenter on my 770 running 2007He2007.36-2.
Also installed mplayer and media player (default player).
Open videocenter>service catalogue, installed Mobuzz TV Daily Buss, Mobuzz TV La Dosis Diaria, Break.com.
Mobuzz TV, Rocketboom, PodshowTV (all provided from videocenter installation) will stream media, i.e., you watch it immediately upon pressing the button, while other stuff, you will have to dl then watch.
To stream the above 3 channels, videocenter>setting>player>internal player, press the ">>" it will stream the media and watch the media on the fly, literally, aint that way Nokia pormise you
?
so far, these are the file formats that usually work, mind you, the file format does not always equate/guarantee codec conformation, it depends on the source/channel.
media player plays mp4, mp3, 3gp
mplayer plays avi, mpg, flv(youtube)
nothing plays m4v, podcasting from CNN.
I guess the way that the player are doing what they doing because the correct codecs are there. So, if we are 'allowed' to insert codecs at will, we will be able to watch most TVchannel/mobile stuff.
Ooh, ignore the error "video format not support" from videocenter, dl the file, go media player>view>library, click the file, it will play. Why is that hard? Nay, it is the way 770 has been all along....
I am still trying to get the major newschannels, the CNN/Fox/abc etc, they all have podcast/mobile, for some reason, have not been able to make it work
