What about it?
1) It seems irrelevant to the topic, the fact that Android might have a willingly open handset manufacturer is pretty big news--certainly countering the news of Motorola locking down firmware
2) It doesn't appear to be open (or even partially)
3) It doesn't appear to have the support of any kind of an alliance of manufacturers (only Samsung seems to use it)
4) The forum you linked to mainly talks about using Linux as a platform to develop FOR Bada using a virtual machine.. again, not sure I see the relevance.

Seems to me you might have posted to the wrong thread.
