Porting costs time... which equates to money. I'm porting a C# app to AS3 and you know what? I'm getting paid more than the first time I developed this app.

Why? Because porting for this client is gonna take me 5-6 months whereas original development was only 3-4 months. Extra time for QA, development above limitations I run into and other portions is what drove the price up.

I'd suggest that you do some research before making statements as such.

Now... why does it cost more on the N900? Tons of variables. But I'm willing to bet money that it boils down to one thing... number of potential sells and the size of the audience.

So... if it's 10x the cost, perhaps it means the audience is 10x lesser. Something to speculate about.
