I agree he's exaggerating, saying it's "no" support. My main beef with your argument was your technical posturing. You just need to make a better argument.

How good that update support is also depends on whether they're actually fixing problems or delivering new features that users want. I can positively claim that these upgrades on the Droid have each been significant (arguably dramatic, really) upgrades with the exception of the one patch update to simply fix up some Droid-specific bugs. It's possible they were just as significant on the N900? I have my doubts, but please go ahead and tell me (seeing as how I don't follow N900 updates... I'm still waiting on N800 updates and a suitable upgrade path).

But then, I'd argue that the BIGGEST support problems Nokia has aren't software related.
