I have to agree with crown77 on this. . .

I enjoy my N900 and have fun using it everyday however with the looming fact that Nokia has made it very clear they won't support on the Meego platform is well crap.

Where does the company responsibility (Nokia) end on a product regardless of what it is? For most companies it's never unless they give an upgrade path or alternative for older hardware/software. Crown77's example was a wonderful one and is very true ( I also work in IT ). If we get a new hard drive or computer componet and it fails we RMA it right? Well if that product is no longer available what do they do with that RMA. . . exactly they upgrade it to what is comparable.

If Nokia is going to drop a product like the N900 then they should at the very least allow us to "trade in" + a little extra cash depending on condition for the comparable Meego device. No where on their site or phone service does it state "this is a development device".

Again, not regretting my purchase of the N900 but it does leave a fowl taste of hearing from Nokia that your pretty much on your own.
