Does anyone know how to get a developer device?
This is 'old' info , thp, but I believe Quim Gil is still the man to contact:
We are sending a first wave of invitations that should cover all our core contributors’ spectrum. Then we will go for missed people and unusual cases in a second and final wave. If you didn't get an invitation after the first wave and you really think to be in the group of top 500 humans deserving one, you will have an opportunity to push yourself as a candidate. Apply to Quim dot Gil at maemo.org
I sincerely hope you succeed in 'hildonizing' the latest gPodder 0.10.0 release. [When I heard about the update a few days ago, I started reading the tutorial on how version 0.08 was 'hildonized'; unfortunately I do not have an up-to-date linux environment at the moment ... nor the know-how.]
I look forward to hearing whether you'll receive a developer device as I really would like to be able to auto-download my podcasts so that the latest are always available to enjoy when offline. gPodder is a killer application for the Internet Tablet!
