If he gets a lot of questions about the N900 asking about long-term support like Android and iPhone get (more like a PC as a major investment than a throwaway phone), it may suggest there's an active community of cash-rich, technically excitable early adopters who it's worth keeping on side.

If he gets lot of smart-sounding questions about open source and its implications for making better devices, better system software and a great app market, he might take note that a not insiginificant set of intelligent developer-users around here. If he's smart he may realise Android is pretty good and advancing all the time, and Nokia can't catch up without getting - and keeping - enthusiastic good quality developers interested.

However if he gets a majority of questions asking for Flash 10.1, I despair :-)
