Well I PM'd him and got a reply this morning regarding getting it to boot this:

In M32GB scripts the kernel is loaded from MTD3 device - and never mind, is root in UBIFS MTD5 or /home. Kernel is NOT loaded from /home.

But /home should have all kernel's /lib/modules for a successful system start.
