What you are describing sounds like there is some big problem with error handling in case id3 tags aren't properly interpreted. Seems like that in that case some parts of the database are updated and the id numberings are messed. I'll have a look at that. Thanks for clearing what is causing the bug. I think it's reproducable if you could verify that that single mp3 is causing the problem. You could then send me the mp and I could debug it to extinction.
