You might have some leftover files from the old installation of SMM9.

Have You guys tried purging the app and re-installing it as I mentioned earlier?

Maybe also make sure that there are no leftover files (after purging - but before re-installing):

apt-get purge mobile-maps
rm -rf /opt/sygic
As mentioned earlier I don't have SMM10 installed as I'm using the OVI store version so I'm not sure about the package name. If it's not mobile-maps, someone please correct me...
