ok.... first of all i am surprised, i never knew anyone in lebanon that has the n900 besides me, what a great device, it should be more popular, anyway i'm 16 and i live in zgarta.
lets get tot he point, the n900 supports wap, well it supports edge connection and... in the uk, australia, ...... and edge is something close to wap.
so yes u can get wap, but it would be awesome to get gprs or unlimited data wap for 5att manno sebbit .
i mean its only 20 or 25 mb, over my house wifi, i need more than 100 mb everyday usage from my n900, yesterday i was downloading some apps, and i ended up with 500 mb !!!!!!!!!! and i use youtube a lot .
and this is not an old crappy nokia, this is a full browsing phone, so watching one youtube video in the browser or looking up the facebook page twice a day, can take 10 mb everyday, unless you can use the opera mobile with opera turbo and mobile view and... but as you guys said it won't supports apps .
i heard that vodaphone is on its way to our contry (a couple of my friends already have a vodaphone number working in lebanon with gprs internet) so maybe if vodaphone comes we can have 3g connections on our phones (or at least 2.5 g), with 500mb to 2gb every month, thats sounds good .
and i almost forgot screw alfa and mtc for the crappy internet services, my uncle in australia pays 10 $ every months for unlimited 3g connection (its super fast ).
and by the way i have my device overclocked at 850 mhz any of you guys managed to do that ?????
