Well, true. I still find it aggravating companies insist on devaluing their software with DRM. When the pirates offer a superior product for free... why would you go and put customer-harming code in your build?

In my lifetime of computing (> 20 years) I have never once run into a product that hadn't been cracked by some group. So why bother?
