Yep, it's lagging a little and I think it's just because the program is loaded while the animation is showed. Tried to tune the transition to be shorter, but then the whole effect is pretty much gone (the animation) and making it longer didn't help for lagging, it made it more noticable.

So I guess this is the best compromize between speed & smoothness and is best that N900 can do.
