1. Nokia will be releasing two ( or more ) tablets pretty soon, or
2. WiMAX will be an add-on device such as a usb or sdio card.

If WiMax introduction on the N800 from Sprint/Nokia takes the form of a WiMax SDIO card, rather than having it built-in to the hardware, then this 3rd tablet could be the launch platform for WiMax in the IT line. Then all the pieces make sense, and there is only one IT coming out later this year or early next year. Intel is producing the WiMax SDIO card by arrangement with Nokia, and Nokia has partnered with Sprint to be the WiMax carrier. Then all we are looking at in the 3rd IT is an additional GPS built-in, and a new firmware to take advantage of the WiMax SDIO. That would be a great upgrade path for existing IT users, don't you think. But then again, it is probably just wishful thinking on my part
