hi again....i checked to see the vlc had been uploaded http://maemo.org/packages/view/vlc-remote/

so went ahead and updated my packages and tried to download it via fapman....i now get this message:

Faster Application Manager Error

Failed to fetch packages - Your network connection might be down or your catalogs could be out of date.

....hmmmm...there is nothing wrong with my connection and i had just refreshed the catalogs.

i think there is some problem still with the package you uploaded again.

any ideas please?
