I'm sure this has been answered and I either missed it or can't get my head around it, but...

Symbian and MeeGo are open source. Use Qt to develop a UI/UX for each. Use Qt to develop apps that run on either.

Now... how are they differentiated?

EDIT: from end user standpoint, for marketability.
