Actually I'm not so sure. I got this impression when porting Albion from GP2X, probably from discussions with the original author (M-HT). I can't find any notions of that in the conversations now so I don't really know anymore

I'm getting increasingly confused though. M-HT explicitly told me the version he sent me requires ARMv6. I wonder what did he test it on, because GP2X seems to be ARMv4. Anyway, I didn't have to change any assembly code to make it work on N900 (except for one minor thing which was a compiler optimization issue), which is good because otherwise I would probably never finish the port

Anyway, ARMv6 and ARMv7 are seem mostly compatible, but from the page you linked ARMv5 and ARMv7 probably aren't.
