Mine works just fine, when I open the lens cover my camera app opens and I can take pictures normally. Does opening your lens cover open the camera app when you are not listening to music? If not close all programs, open the lens cover and then open the camera app. After this close your lens cover and next time the camera application should open just normally. Other thing that could cause this is if theres some other heavy program running in the background.
