It seems like any counter-thought is considered FUD, typically FUD was fought back with sheer insightful information; however that's not the case right now. I see no real new information that would push the naysayers to the side - that needs to happen.

So what do you propose as the option? Complaining about complainers is just as wasteful as the people complaining. I see nothing in this thread other than a call to rally behind a recently favorited item. Not a solution, just a rally cry.
All the nays from the naysayers have been addressed and rebutted. The thing is that one gets tired of repeating the same thing over and over. There were just too many trolls on this forum bring up the same non-sense over and over and over.

Sure, there are some things that the N900 doesn't do as well as other phones. But, there are so many things that the N900 does better, way better. The naysayers don't like to acknowledge that. I have said many times that the N900 is not what I recommend to everyone. My wife, for example, would be lost trying to use the N900. But that doesn't mean that the N900 is a piece of garbage. The N900 is the most powerful mobile device on the market, even now, 8 months after its release. There is just nothing out there that I would trade it for.

Naysayers are usually not balanced in their assessment of the N900. And as the OP said, that gives a false impression of what the N900 is really like. And the unfortunate thing is that people who would really love the N900 are dissuaded from getting it because of that distorted picture.
