We'll have to slightly disagree here. A lot has been covered, but the FUD being met with equal fanaticism isn't what I call "addressing" the issues. Not fully.

100% agree here.

And as the OP said, that gives a false impression of what the N900 is really like. And the unfortunate thing is that people who would really love the N900 are dissuaded from getting it because of that distorted picture.
Are people honestly that easily swayed? I personally think not. But that's basing that on my own ability to form my own opinions.

If people are that easily fooled, led, changed or impressed upon, the bigger problem isn't the FUD, it's the lack of positive reinforcement from Nokia and leaving that all up to this loosely knit group.

But that's my opinion. Brands should stand on their own merits.
