-1 for Ovi services. I don't use any of them, and my mobile device experience isn't lacking as a result:
  • Mapping? I use supl.google.com for GPS, Google Maps Mobile via Fennec, and Google Street View via eCoach (for running)
  • Push Email? I use Exchange ActiveSync & Imap directly to my numerous email servers
  • Music? I sync my iTunes library via Nokia Multi-Media Transfer
  • Sharing? I use PixelPipe to publish to various social-media platforms
  • File Sync? I use Grsync
  • App Store? I get all I need from App Manager and the repos

Unless I'm missing something else that Ovi provides, it adds no value to me.
